Abstract bokeh lights from a Christmas tree symbolizing the transition into the New Year

A New Year, Full of Light

As one year fades into another, I want to wish you a New Year filled with movement, curiosity, and moments worth remembering.

May there be many won challenges along the way — tough climbs conquered, Strava segments chased, a few hard-earned KOMs, and plenty of personal achievements that matter most to you, not just the numbers.

For bikepackers and cycling tourists: may the coming months bring quiet roads, long horizons, and beautiful places you didn’t even know you were looking for. For hikers — calm trails, changing light, and that feeling of being exactly where you should be.

And for photographers: I hope for patient wildlife encounters, soft light when you least expect it, and landscapes that make you stop pedaling or walking just to take it all in.

May the new year bring you good light, open paths, and many reasons to slow down — or speed up — exactly when it feels right. 🚴‍♂️🥾📷✨

Here’s to another year of riding, wandering, and seeing the world with fresh eyes.
