I was hiding in the bushes at Jeziorsko Bird Reserve, watching a Great Egret moving through the shallow water. Then I noticed a group of Eurasian Coots at Jeziorsko Lake.

Reed Warbler by the Lakeshore

Photographing a reed warbler was not part of my plan that day. The idea came from a fisherman I met by the lake. He told me about a small bird that often perched on the thin reeds close to the shore, pointed toward a stretch of reed beds, and suggested I keep an eye on the tallest stems. That was enough to spark my curiosity.
